Zinc Plating

- The solution to improve metal longevity by providing more corrosion resistance, improves metal appearance with a shiny blue/silverish or yellow look.
- Parts are then processed through chromates to provide even more corrosion resistance after zinc plating. Both chromates, yellow and clear, are trivalent chromates and are RoHS compliant.
- Clear can provide up to 120 hours of salt spray and yellow can provide up to 60 hours.
Clear/Yellow Chromate Conversion
Also known as iridite or chem-film, chromate conversion solution for aluminum to improve corrosion resistance as well as appearance. Clear is achieved with trivalent chrome and is RoHS compliant. Yellow is hexavalent chrome. This process improves the surface adhesion for subsequent coatings and acts as a barrier to prevent corrosion.
- MIL-DTL-5541F Type I (Class 1A)
- MIL-DTL-5541F Type I (Class 3)
- MIL-DTL-5541F Type II (Class 1A)
- MIL-DTL-5541F Type II (Class 3)
Stainless Steel Solutions
Passivation

- Enhances natural corrosion resistance
- Thorough surface contamination removal
- Meets ASTM A-967, AMS-2700 and QQ-P-135
Electropolish

- Improves the physical appearance of Stainless steel.
- Passivate and brighten at the same time, to provide better corrosion protection and smooth and bright surface.
